Classical Scholar, Translator, and Musician R.C. Hogart is best known for his several erudite works including: Critical Essays On Homer, The Hymns of Orpheus – Mutations, and Alchemy, A Comprehensive Bibliography of The Manly P. Hall Collection of Books and Manuscripts: Including Related Material on Rosicrucianism and the Writings of Jacob Boehme. He was a vital contributor to Alexandria: The Journal of Western Cosmological Traditions and has actively pursued many other productive avenues.
However, from his wonderful bio I find he is known by another name, Ronnie Pontiac and has an equally impressive resume in the entertainment and art world. Ronnie Pontiac was executive producer of the documentary Viva Cuba Libre, and of the award-winning animated documentary short Cohen on the Bridge. He was Associate producer of The Gits documentary. Andrew Leman
Andrew Leman directed the motion picture The Call of Cthulhu and is one of the founding members of the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society. He has produced a number of literary, film, theatrical, music and gaming projects there over the years.
In 1988 he wrote and directed a short film adaptation of the H.P. Lovecraft short story “The Statement of Randolph Carter” which played at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in 2000. With Sean Branney, he co-wrote and directed A Shoggoth on the Roof: the Documentary, which also premiered at the 2000 festival. He directed the HPLHS motion picture The Call of Cthulhu. With Phil Bell, he was co-editor of Strange Eons, the monthly newsletter of the HPLHS, for over two years.
He has written a comprehensive history of the 1920s and ‘30s for gamers called In the Time of Lovecraft.
Leman earned his MFA in acting from the University of Illinois, and spent several years as a professional actor in Chicago, where he worked with Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens, Shaw Chicago, The Cypress Group, and Defiant Theatre. In Los Angeles, Andrew has appeared on stage at Theatre/Theater, Moving Arts, and Theatre Banshee. When not pursuing any of these many other occupations, Leman is a designer of digital fonts, and his typographical work has been seen on movie screens, book jackets, and billboards nationwide. Scott F. Wolter
Geologist Scott Wolter has authored eight books (including: Lake Superior Agate, Amazing Agates: Lake Superior’s Banded Gemstones, co authored- The Kensington Rune Stone: Compelling New Evidence, and authored The Hooked X: Key To The Secret History of North America. He has appeared in several History Channel specials most notably Holy Grail In America which portrays the story of his research in The Hooked X. He has been president of American Petrographic Services since 1990, and is responsible for the independent petrographic analysis testing laboratory where the Kensington Rune Stone was brought for investigation in 2000. He’s been the principal petrographer in more than 5,000 investigations throughout the U.S. and around the world, including the evaluation of fire damaged concrete at the Pentagon following the attacks of September 11, 2001. The Hooked X is the culmination of a seven-year odyssey to understand the origin of a mysterious symbol that first appeared on a highly controversial century-old artifact called the Kensington Rune Stone. The discovery of the meaning of the Hooked X was stunning, as was the secret history behind it. Never-before published discoveries provide additional support for the authenticity of the Kensington Rune Stone. This new evidence serves as the foundation upon which the case for the medieval origin of the Spirit Pond and Narragansett Rune Stones, as well as the Newport Tower in Rhode Island rests.
